We know navigating UC San Diego and the world of higher education can be difficult! Academic advisors are here to teach undergraduate students many things: degree requirements, policies, campus resources, how to navigate a research university, career and professional development, and more. Our advisors are professional staff members and are well-equipped to help students. Many of them have graduate degrees in higher education, educational leadership, counseling, or related fields.
