- Watch your email for a message from Math Testing & Placement that will tell you what you need to do
- If you are an incoming student for Fall 2026 and need Math for your major, you must take the Math Placement Exam by June 1 to be able to enroll in Fall classes. Learn more here and see the timeline you should follow.
- Do you need to take the MPE? Check if your intended major and college require Mathematics courses. Then, based on your previous math test scores and college credit, see if you need to take the MPE.
- Review the math path at UC San Diego to understand what will be needed for your degree.
