Use the resources below to help students when you are concerned.
UCSD Police Department
Dial 9-1-1 from your mobile phone, a campus phone, or call box to reach a campus police dispatcher immediately.
Police services include:
- Community alerts
- Crime prevention and reporting
- Safety escorts
- Copies of police reports
- Workplace violence education and prevention
- Triton CORE Compassionate Response Team

Triton CORE
Triton CORE is a mobile response team that provides compassionate intervention and support to students experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The team is available to help current students (undergraduate, graduate, extended studies) who are physically located on campus.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
CAPS supports students toward their academic success, personal development, and well-being through:
- Individual counseling
- Same-day urgent counseling / crisis intervention
- Group counseling
- Psychoeducational workshops
- "Let's Talk" Programs
- Consultation / crisis debriefings to organizations or departments
- Mental health services when residing internationally or outside California
For students or faculty/staff in immediate need of assistance, please call (858) 534-3755 to speak with an on-call counselor.
If immediate assistance is needed after business hours, call (858) 534-3755 (select Option 2) and ask to speak with the on-call counselor.

Central Student Affairs Case Management Services
Case Management Services provide:
- Consultative services and resources for faculty/staff that empower them to support students in distress
- Non-clinical case management support to all undergraduate, graduate, and professional students at UC San Diego
- Well-being programming to support student wellness through connection spaces

CARE at the Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC)
CARE at the Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC) provides free and confidential services for those impacted by sexual violence and gender-based violence (dating violence, domestic violence, stalking).

Office for the Prevention of Harassment & Discrimination (OPHD)
OPHD assesses and investigates reports of discrimination or harassment based on race, ancestry, national origin, disability, religion, age, and other categories protected by law and University policy.
They provide education for the entire UC San Diego community with emphasis on prevention and early resolution. OPHD is also the Title IX office on campus.

Ombuds Office
The Ombuds Office assists by:
- Providing confidential, neutral, and informal dispute resolution for the UC San Diego community
- Facilitating communication and assisting parties in reaching mutually acceptable agreements
- Reporting general trends on issues and providing feedback
- Advocating for systems change when appropriate, without disclosing confidential communications
- Operating independently of ordinary lines and staff structures
