ASC @ Math
All students enrolled in precalculus courses are encouraged to utilize the Academic Success Center (ASC). Peer tutors help students to strengthen skills in mathematics.

The Teaching and Learning Commons provides peer-led personalized support to help students improve their understanding of course material and develop effective learning strategies.

The Jacobs School of Engineering IDEA Center learning communities are formal study groups that bring engineering students into a supportive environment through weekly problem solving sessions and academic support from a Peer Educator.

OASIS Workshops
The Office of Academic Support & Instructional Services (OASIS) Math & Science Tutorial Program (MSTP) offers peer-led topic-based workshops designed to strengthen foundational concepts in math courses before the calculus level. These workshops are not tied to a single course. Instead, they give students the opportunity to build proficiency in prerequisite skills that are essential for keeping pace with lectures and other learning supports across multiple disciplines.

OASIS Tutoring
The Office of Academic Support & Instructional Services (OASIS) Math & Science Tutorial Program (MSTP) offers small group math tutoring to help students succeed in courses and the place-up exams.

Instructors and teaching assistants offer office hours every week to support students in their classes. Office hours are time set aside to ask questions about the homework, reading, exams, and grades.
