Steps to Succeed

Set aside 8-12 hours each week

Plan to spend this time outside of class doing homework problems, reviewing lecture materials, and using support resources. One learns mathematics by doing mathematics!

Go to class

Lecture attendance is a fundamental part of learning math. Going to discussion sections connects you with your teaching assistants and peers.

Exams are crucial

Only completing homework will not be enough. You must pass the exams to pass the course and to be prepared for subsequent courses.
